Accommodating Employees with Mental Health Conditions

Administration: Employers are reporting an increased number of requests for accommodation and FMLA leave from employees with mental health conditions. Employers must be prepared to address these issues just as they would for employees with a physical health condition. This presentation will include helpful legal information and best practices and with respect to employees with disabilities, placing particular emphasis on the unique challenges posed by mental health conditions. The presentation will also include strategies for addressing any performance and conduct concerns employers might have with employees with mental health conditions.
